David Lindsey Quintet

For over two decades, hundreds of brides, event managers and party planners have found something special with the David Lindsey Quintet Plus Two. You’ll hear raves about the band, who play everything from swing to oldies, motown to top-40.

David Lindsey, a trombonist, earned his Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University. Lindsey went on to receive a bachelor and a master degree in music from Northeast Missouri State University. David Lindsey has toured with Buddy Rich and Louis Bellson and has performed as a bandleader in Ray Charles, Mel Torme, Johnny Mathis, and Marvin Hamlisch shows.

Previously a teacher at Berklee College, David Lindsey now pursues the life of a piano and brass teacher, teaching both at home and at Dedham Country Day School. In addition to the David Lindsey Quintet, he also heads Quintessential Brass, the Basin Dixieland Band, and the One O'Clock Jump.
